King’s Academy is shifting the paradigm for what educating a child is supposed to look like.  Our nation’s traditional model of education is not working (and, in fact, has gotten worse and worse every year!).  As a result, children are stressed out, overloaded with irrelevant information, devoid of spiritual morality, easily offended and distractible, not to mention academically underdeveloped and emotionally unprepared for the real world.

Children spend approximately a decade and a half of their lives in school.  Since (as I have often told my own students many times) it is their “job” to learn, shouldn’t those hours spent in the learning environment be rewarding?  After all, if we want them to be engaged and responsible citizens, isn’t it our duty as educators to make their formative learning years the best of their lives?
